What's camp all about?

Midway Bible Camp, located in Thomson, Manitoba is a safe, fun place for people to come, learn about God and grow together. We have overnight camps for ages 7-17 in July and August, as well as a Family Camp Weekend for the whole family! We try to provide a place for kids to learn about nature as well as valuable life skills that help them grow into who they were meant to be. Activities that are challenging enough to keep you interested, yet simple enough that even young ones can have a good experience! We have spent the last few years developing and enhancing a leadership development program that brings those interested to the next level of servant leadership at camp and in their communities. Come out and spend some time in Northern Manitoba!

Camps typically run from Monday to Saturday. The campers are dropped off at camp by their parents, or picked up in their community, at the airport, bus stop or train station. They stay in a cabin group for the week with 2 Cabin Leaders and up to seven other kids of the same sex and age group. Throughout the week they take part in different skills such as, archery, canoeing, B.B. gun target shooting, tomahawk throwing, arts and crafts, swimming, hiking and fishing.

Each full day there are two Chapel sessions where we sing songs and learn more about God. There are times to run around and play with everyone as well as sit down in smaller groups, not to mention all the great food!

MBC is a great place to meet new friends, learn how to make your community a better place and how to make a positive impact on those around you!
